About me and my practice

I am a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and I care deeply about helping people work through areas of their life that they are struggling with.

I offer a confidential, non-judgemental space to explore your world together with me and I hope you find it is a place to feel heard and accepted. Sometimes being able to share your thoughts and feelings is the first step to unravelling the feeling of being 'stuck'.

My pronouns are she/her and I offer an LGBTQ+ safe space.

Experience

I have worked for the charity Sportfit Support Services offering Workplace counselling for over 2 years, which has included sessions for young people and adults. I have recently set up my own private practice to go alongside this work.

I have also been a Mentor, working for the Wiltshire Youth Offending Team, for over 10 years.

Qualifications

Registered member of the BACP
DipHe in Person-Centred Counselling
BSc Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy (awaiting certificate)
MindEd certificate in Counselling Children and Young People
Open University certificate in Remote Counselling

I offer online, telephone and face-to-face sessions (Southampton based)
I offer short and long-term therapy, depending on your needs.

Initial Consultation

I am very happy to offer you a free, preliminary chat to answer any questions you have and to decide whether we are a good fit to work together, as I feel it is important to find a therapist who you can feel comfortable with.

Fees

£50 per 50 minute session

I offer reduced fees for students, trainee counsellors, people on low income or who are unemployed, and refugees.

When I Work

I work weekdays between 9am and 5pm.
